I put our nice youngster up for sale last week on this website and have not had one enquiry. Is it too early in the year or has the economic climate put a stop to horse purchasing?
No I don't think so.
Iv got a fab cob 100%, not one call and I'm open to offers
The answer seems to be yes and no. I have her advertised on several sites but still no enquiries. Is £3000 a fair price to ask for a youngster who has been professionally backed and turned away to mature? I am not looking to make a profit just cover some of my costs and find her a good home where someone has the time and facilities to bring her on.
I have one advertised on HQ, going on others at the same level he isn't over priced (unless they are too!) haven't had a phone call for 3 wks, i even renewed the ad so it went to the top of the page. Cracking little horse too, he has been placed at BE, has BSJA winnings and does a lovely test and a very smart worker, no doubt if i advertised him for 5k i would be inundated but feel he is worth more than this.
Looks like daughter will be doing another season on him.
He is a lovely boy too, have been drooling over the advert today. I have a youngster by Brenin at my yard, she is a lovely mare, certainly made me interested in his stock. Your daughter has produced yours beautifully. If he was around the 5K mark I'd be one of those inundating you
I think good horses are selling but it is a buyers market,, and buyers are being very definite about what they want and aren't willing to compromise - rightly so, as they can afford to be with so many horses for sale at the moment.
