Did you buy through ebay using paypal? If so you can request your money back and paypal will refund you for non receipt of goods.

Some of our horses are just round the corner from them. If she has time (new baby) Ill ask daughter to pop in and see.

Starsky - I ordered the rug directly from them, but paid through Paypal. Can I request a refund from Paypal directly for goods not received? :)

PR Equestrian asking for the comments to be removed suggests that this is a sensitive issue.

I have tried to contact them regarding an order that was short - no reply to emails, now not answering the phone.

Also they have stopped listing on Amazon and eBay.

1. Of course someone questioning the viability of their company is a sensitive issue as it adversely effects their business. Anyone would want the post removed.
2. Take a look at the date of this post......... it's 14 months old!!!
3. Try calling them again & you'll probably get an answer, I've bought numerous items from them & never had any problems.
4. I don't know about Amazon but they have numerous pages of equestrian items listed on Ebay at the moment.
5. Why join a forum to post on a 14 month old removed thread & post inaccurate things?

Exactly! Nothing like a zombie post to stir up trouble.

We have bought from them over the years with never a problem. Their only fault, as i see it, is their warehouse used to be fantastically disorganised! That said it never seemed as much of a problem as it looked and they would happily rummage for what I wanted. Getting through on the phone is hard, I have stood there while their numerous phones have rung non-stop and because of their attention to customers they answer every call fully and that takes time.

I can understand people coming here to knock some of the firms that have been truly dreadful and even abusive, but Prequestrian has never been one of those.

1) No smoke without fire.
2) The postings 14 months ago could have been an early sign of issues. They definitely have downsized since a number of years ago. Previously they were a limited company.
3) Tried again - no answer.
4) I just checked eBay again and there are 1247 items listed. This morning there were none. Very strange indeed.
5) The thread was not removed. The point about listing was accurate when posted, and the rest of the points are 100% accurate. So ironically your own point is inaccurate!

Stefen your point 4) is rubbish as there are dozens of items from prequestrian on ebay ending in the next few minutes. Ebay don't allow you to list for less than 24 hours so those items must have been on ebay this morning.

You really are not showing any sign of becoming a popular or regarded poster on here if you join only to diss a firm and then to argue with the person who pointed it out to you. Maybe a different forum would be more to your liking.

IIRC eBay allow the entire listing to be temporarily withdrawn for occasions such that the seller is on holiday. Please read up on this before drawing a conclusion. I wish I'd taken a screenshot as proof.

It's not a popularity contest. I'm trying to establish the facts about the company and inform others about my experience. The other poster was trying to correct my post, I in turn, corrected theirs. That, in my mind, is fair enough and is what the forums are for.

That's a tad rude

I'm not a new poster - but as everyone has been good enough to check ebay - just out of interest I have just phoned their sales line as detailed on their website and I would confirm I have left it ringing twice now for over 2 minutes - there is no one answering the telephone.

This would make me nervous when purchasing from any company - surely during normal office hours a sales line should be answered?

So the poster does actually have a point and is not making everything up

What a shame you didn't take that screenshot - we might have been able to show you where your serach terms were wrong.:)

If you go back to tis posters first post you will see where the search terms failed! They started by calling the firm PR Equestrian and not Prequestrian. EBay take seaches very literally and don't tend to help out people who make mistakes.. hence the number of 'bridals' and 'saddels' frequently listed ;)

Certainly looking at their ebay feedback there are a lot of people over the past few weeks who have managed to find their listings, place orders, have the items delivered and give feedback . . . .

As stated in the earlier post, I placed an order which was a few items short. I am not from any rival company, and my only interest is sorting out the order.

jemima*askin - I went directly to the profile page, so there are no search terms to view. I could see feedback having been left today, and when I clicked on the 'View items for sale' a grand total of zero were there. Like I say, it's quite strange. I would appreciate an objective approach please, without the condescending slant.

As another point of interest, they now have 1069 items listed, down from 1246 a few minutes ago. So perhaps it is conceivable that the listing could have dropped to zero for a time.
I have these two window open side by side, so screen shots can be taken if there are any doubting Thomas' out there.

Remember I said there were dozens of items ending in the next few minutes? Some time ago now? Do a completed listings search, most recent first, and you'll see where all the listings have gone.

If that is the case then the listings would only ever go down, until a batch was manually relisted. It went up to 1078 just after I posted and is now 1058. I don't quite understand. Most companies have these on auto-relist thus maintaining a constant listing level.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure there is a feature to temporarily pull the entire listing.

It is clear though that with over 200 feedback in the most recent 30 days that the company has at least been trading up until very recently, and their listing now indicates that they have an intention to continue.

What remains outstanding are - unanswered emails and unanswered phone calls, not a sign of a healthy company, it must be admitted. I hope to goodness that they will sort this, and pledge to post the outcome here.

It seems that throughout their trading history there have been communication issues. If you bought through ebay try to do all your communication through them. Then at least you've got a chance of getting it sorted.

Unfortunately it was some time ago, and is probably out of the scope of eBay/Paypal. They pledged to sort the issue on the next order, hence my delay.

I've emailed them several weeks ago and sent two reminders, all unanswered. I've also phone a number of times since, but no answer. Very disappointing.

If they don't look after their customers, their customers will not look after them, and they will be in financial trouble (if they aren't already!).
