Are riding tights very flimsy?

I wear these http://equiworldlimited.co.uk/tacks...ducts_id=636&zenid=k94iur7j782t8c21mt5arj9me2 although eye wateringly expensive they are amazing to ride in - fit, comfort, durability; everything. My oldest pair is now 10 years old and still perfectly serviceable (they survived a boil wash - husbands ears however are still in recovery...). I've tried other cheaper brands but always ended up giving them away or selling them. I have three pairs of FITS and am not precious about them - they are perfectly up to vigorous yard work as well as riding.

I've got Dublin cool it and warm it tights. I love the cool it, they fit really well and are flattering, also wearing really well. I'm less keen on the warm it as I don't like the fabric and they go a bit baggy if worn several times but they are not at al flimsy.

I bought a pair from Aztec Equestrian which are amazing. In winter I would always put trackies over the top though as they're definitely not very warm but they do seem durable.
When I was buying them I was specifically thinking of wearing them when I was riding in spain (25 degrees C) and they kept me cool enough for then so definitely not for cold weather. Amazing in summer though.
I think the most practical thing is to wear jods in winter and the try switching to tights in summer (as long as you can get a good brand!)

I tried some noble outfitters ones last year & didn’t get on at all with them. They felt very thin & flimsy to me,were slippy when I rode. Plus they looked bloody awful on me😂,I’m a 14-16 & they looked terrible, luckily sold them on eBay for a decent price.

I got some shires riding leggings which are fleece lined and lovely and warm. I also bought a pair of decathlon riding tights last summer- they were amazing in the hot summer, but I wouldn’t wear them in the winter as they are very, very thin.

I like the Dublin cool it tights. There is a pink colour and also a violet one that aren't very popular so you can get good bargains on them. I bought a pink pair on eBay for half price earlier today. I already have the beige and charcoal ones.

Rising tights are so much more comfortable than jodhpurs. I'd never change back.
