I'm 25 and I've never even thought twice about it until today! Sexy is fine by me (actually it's always sounded a bit ridiculous and pretty unsexy tbh since that horrific Liberty X song - I've never been able to use the word seriously since).
I would vote no no NO for sexy babies. If i said a horse was 'sexy' it would be because it was lovely and elegant. Babies are 'cute' at the very best, too short and round for 'sexy' and besides it's just plain wrong! saying it to a baby/child as they grow up will have an effect on them, your horse doesn't care what you call it as long as it's in a nice voice. And it won't grow up to be a chav
I very often call mine sexy boy (both horses and cat) and my dog, other cat and farm cows all get sexy girl. Think its perfectly ok to refer to pets as sexy
I don't really have a problem with it & I'm rising 25... I haven't really used it myself but have used smexy once or twice. Plenty of words have multiple meanings like 'gay' = happy and 'gay' = homosexual. So sexy can mean a nice looking object or something sexually attractive.
I HATE HATE HATE people calling horses sexy. A girl at the yard does it and I really have to bite my tongue not to tell her what I think. I'm in my early 30s and very open minded, but thinking a horse is sexy is just WRONG.
What bothers me more is that I'm sure 99.999999% of people don't think horses are sexy, so what's the point in saying it!
