Are there any cheaper alternatives to....?

...The stephens gel eze saddle pads? need something to literally go between the polypad and saddle, cause the polypad has a tendancy to slide back.

Are you sure it isn't the polypad causing the slipping? I can't get on with them and always have them slipping all over the place! Perhaps a different saddle cloth (love the nuumed high wither myself and never had any shifting probs) might help?

Its because ive got a very slippery/smooth saddle, and there are no girth straps on the polypad, so just need something to hold the saddle and polypad togther baisically. Saddle cloths with girth straps hold it in place, but id much rather use a polypad with something like this than a saddlecloth

well if you want cheap, then pop along to asda or dunhelm or wilkos

and buy a draw liner

Cheap way of attaching your polypad to your saddle would be to stitch some loops on to your polypad. If you've got an old numnah you don't use any more then just unpick the straps from that.

I got my Gel eze pad off ebay for £15 I wouldn't use anything else.

my poly pads never shift!! put on and make sure they are up the gullet of the saddle. think it is probably the saddle moving/ or girth not tight. i would check the fit of the saddle first!
