moving out that way this week, was just wondering as seen horses just behind our cottage but not had a chance to go look yet.

its across the raod from our new cottage lol, have emailed and waiting to hear back, i know smeaton farm(sp) is behind us and thats where we saw the horses, just not had a chance to ask them yet.

There is a place called Cowpits just down the inveresk road so about 5 mins from Whitecraigs, never been but i hear its pretty basic although in told its £40 a month for box and field.
Q

i tried to google that but couldnt find anything, although there was a yard at that price who i called to be told they hadnt done livery in 2 years.
i only need basic as jays retired and fizz only does stuff weekends and holidays, although i am looking for a 3rd........

if you want to go see edinburgh equestrian centre your best to phone if your looking for a quick reply, the yard is really nice there are three yards on the estate ran by the same person, i personally love the yard the people are nice and it has the most amazing off road hacking both on and on the park, my mum keeps her horse there and i used to have taz there too, there is cowpits at the top end of whitecraig on the way to the a 68, there is hill head livery at the top of carberry hill so all of five minutes away, it all depends on what you are looking for there are a number of yards up towards pathead a five/ten minute journey up the a 68 or again, there are a number towards longniddry, im biased as i have my horse in longniddry fifteen minutes from the beach :D again only taking 10 minutes to get to from the whitecraig area, feel free to pm if you want any more info,

sorry it has ended up being a huge post!

thank you xx

dont need much other than good grazing for jay, restricted grazing for fizz and a place to bring them in if the weather is really bad, although jay still prefers to be out, oh and it MUST be child friendly as in they are allowed lol.

Hi JenTax - sorry to bother you but what are all the yards in Longniddry? I am currently near Dalkeith but looking to move ponies down east lothian way....Can you recommend any? Would need to be child/dog friendly ...quite relaxed atmosphere - good grass, hacking etc...appreciate any advice you can give

Thanks

Jannyl
