My mare retired a few weeks ago so i have decided to buy another horse.

I have been to view four horses over the last two weeks and all have been lame

went to look at one last week and it was hoping she said it was its action,

I have two vetted and both failed,i know my budget isn't a lot but i would still expect a horse to be sound

I have now decided that i am not going to travel the country looking i hope something localish.(warwickshire) will come up

There must be a horse somewhere for me

16hh+ would prefer a gelding? an alrounder to do a bit of everything, age wise nothing to old would prefer younger i am an experienced rider.doesn't have to be fancy just a nice type.

We have our own place so nice country home

Are you set on a gelding? If not I may know of a mare that might suit. She's done a bit of jumping at the local RC but not sure what else to be honest

She was still for sale a couple of weeks ago but I'll do some investigating and get back to you if you want?

lol i have one just ur type but hes lame at the moment. my horse had a spat with him in the field. but sounds like something that you may be interested in, but a bit too far.
if its any consolation its a right pain trying to sell a lame horse!!

Good for you! So many people travel the length & breadth of the country pursueing various adverts they have seen on the internet & it's not necessary. There are so many horses out there that you should be able to find what you want within 50 miles of home. I certainly have on several occasions.

The internet is a useful tool in searching but it's better not used to the complete exclusion of every other method.

Good Luck with your search
