Are there universal standards for therapy dogs?

Regards this specific dog.
I don't know the owner or the dog but the way she came across was that she was so desperate that she grossly exaggerated anything and everything that she thought might tug someone's heart strings.
Sadly, if she'd just been honest along the lines of "I've got an uninsured puppy.... I'm a student teacher & I'd hoped he might one day....unfortunately he now needs...." she'd have got a much better response. :(

If people are going to continue to comment on the deleted threads instead of the more general issue of dogs in schools, which is well worth discussion, and are still watching the GoFundMe page, then I would also like to point out that the GoFundMe was not set up in the name of the poster, her name is completely different.

Well that's something (for the poster's protection). It certainly worried me, on her behalf, that the school would not want to be associated with the GFM page.
