Are these boots ok for M & M ridden showing?

Found these Toggi Calgary boots. Do you think they are suitable for the show ring? County level stuff?

Have a major problem with big calves & smallish budget!

No sorry, they are too casual for any form of competition IMHO, lest of all showing which is based on ancient tradition! You need something in plain leather that you can buff to a good shine.

No, not suitable for showing. You'd be better off with just short boots ( depending on breed imo) as 3bh says it's all tradition.

I used to have a pair like this but they are just too wide on the foot and frequent got stuck with the stirrups. I got rid of them a while back...

NO if you are having trouble finding boots within a budget and an odd size try looking at 2nd hand, you may find a quality long boot or try short boots and leather 1/2 chaps.

O have these for hunting and people have no idea they aren't proper leather, I've even shown in them and they are fine although dressage top is not so correct its better than the above boots. They come in wide calf too.
