My OH is getting me some clippers as a xmas present, i looked on ebay at the hope of getting some really decent ones at about £200, but ive seen these on Rideaway website, and they are a bit less and brand new, and will probably do hwat i need them too....

My cob will need hogging and his legs done once a month, and im thinking about clipping him out over winter when I go hunting, only have 2 ponies so im guessing they'll be fine.
??

Clippers

Liveryman are a good clipper, I have a very very old set that I still use occasionally. I brought Hauptner 2000's about 9 years ago as I do a lot of clipping all year, like you I have a large cob and he is hogged and I do his legs and mane every month and usually he is clipped all summer. Don't know anyone that has the Calypso ones but they are a budget clipper but would think they will be alright for what you want to do. If you have a look on www.farmcareuk.com, they normally are the cheapest around for clippers and they have the new Hauptner 3000 for £220.

Only investigated cordless clippers but can recommend Farm Care, very helpful and very quick delivery. They were the cheapest I could find for the clippers I bought.

ohhh thanks... they do electric fencing as well, good deals on kits for that, so will be getting OH to order from there and ill get my fencing at the same time
