Are these herbs safe for my horse?

My herb patch at home is getting overgrown so I've chopped a lot down. Ill take some fresh mint for my pony but can he eat basil, sage or thyme? was just thinking of leaving a few springs in the field for him to browse while grazing? are there and common garden herbs that are a definite no no?

The only ones that I know are harmful are anything in the onion family.

i know sage and thyme are ok as i have these growing in my own garden and did a little research a while back, not sure on basil though

just checked on the list i went off and basil is on there too
