To ask for opinions on dealers? There's a horse for sale at a private yard near a dealer that has some horses I like the look of but want opinions on the chap before I go!

You have to be very careful with dealer posts, it would be worth checking the T&C's to see exactly what's allowed. Maybe ask people to PM their answers?

Why dont you do it another way - ask people for recommended dealers in a particular area - i.e. where the dealer is you are interested in - then if they do not appear with positive recommendations, you can probably draw your own conclusions!

Local facebook groups too? Been following your horse buying thread, sorry you've not found one yet but am sure you will soon! Forgotten what you were after again - have you tried finding out on here if ppl know of horses? And ask for recomms too, that seems to be ok - but if they are not good ones, then PMs are the best way to get a reply!
