I can’t believe the weather!!!!

Middle of June and still grey, rain most days and not at all warm. As soon as the ground dries up it rains again.

I think I speak for all of us that had we known this is what it would be like in June back int he winter I think we would have given up! After the wettest winter ever, I think we all deserve some sun now, surely?!

now! It’s barely been warm enough to take my jumper off this week here and the flowers are slow blooming too due to the lack of sun.

I’ve been to Bolesworth today and it was cold, windy and grey. Around 3.30pm it started raining.
I’ve had to rug Polly in her 50g tonight. How is this June weather??

It’s freezing! I had a hot water bottle last night and considered lighting a fire tonight! I’m stubborn and refuse to put the heating on so I’m in bed early. Where it’s warm, under a 15 tog duvet with a jumper on!

It’s rained pretty much every day for several weeks here (Midlands) and I’ve got mud. I never have mud, even in January. Back in wellies and poo picked in a winter jumper at the weekend.

It was supposedly the warmest May on record. Not where I am!

Isn't horrible it's really depressing all week its been grey windy and raining and 15 degrees at the most.

I'm going to our house in fuerteventura next week I can't wait it's 26 degrees and I will be loving it.

Genuinely, we had a couple of nice days in May and that's been it. It's been absolutely horrible. Hardly any sun. Very windy. And cold!

It's 12/13 degrees in the day and 5/6 degrees at night.

Starting to wonder if the wackadoodle conspiracy theorists are are on to something!

I'm going to duck and hide after posting this, but I LOVE this weather. This morning was warm enough to dig on the allotment in a t-shirt but with a refreshing breeze. It's a bit chilly now but I'd rather that than the heat of a couple of years ago.

Yep. Summer barely came last year and this year is even worse. Off for a visit back home and it's going to be low 30s/low 40s with humidity levels. It's sad that I have to go to Canada to get a summer (and even then it will be very short lived)

I treated myself to a new pair of sunglasses and some sandals the other day - obviously that means it'll rain for ages now and I won't get to wear them! Horses soggy and cold this afternoon, and the mud is back. Seriously considering moving to France to live with my dad!

Mine are staying in tonight and seem happy to be in - wind picking up and still raining here… my local farmer hasn’t managed to get any hay in yet so he’s having to ask around to source me a bale as I am getting low.

Like the rest of you, today had me reaching for more layers by late morning (started grey, sun out by 8am, gone by 10, temp dropped by 11) and ended up in my big insulated yard coat when meeting a friend to dog walk and cuppa! Brrrrrr.

Winter rugs are on tonight in prep for 40 mph wind, heavy rain and single digits tonight. The horses are high as can be with the stormy weather coming.

I went out early to a show yesterday with a coat and a bodywarmer it was so cold.

One of mine was galloping around in a 100g the other day (her go to when she’s cold) so she’s in a full neck tonight she’d probably like to come in at night again but I’m a tyrant come summer and it would have to be exceptional circumstances before they got stabled
