Are yearlings the most difficult age group to sell?

I have my two yearlings up for sale for some time now but I have had absolutely no interest from buyers, although I have had a number of people asking if they can loan them. Personally I don't know why anyone would want to loan a yearling

Anyway someone has just told me that yearlings in general are more difficult to sell and not because not much is selling at the moment.

IME yearlings and 2yos are the most difficult to sell, 3yos slightly easier but weanlings or just backed/ready to back 4yos are definitely easier.

I don't know what else to do then but I definitely not sending them to the sales.

Hey what are your yearlings? and how much are you asking for them, and where are you? all this info will make a difference, I have just bought a NF yearling because my welsh D yearling lost his buddy, he is fully registered with good breeding and I paid £300 for him

All I've had is people wanting to loan I should send them your way! Have you tried preloved and freeads?
