Are you a walking advert for one particular clothing brand?

Crew clothing or Jack Wills

for being a bumpkin

or Topshop head to toe other days.

I like to think it's subtle....

Oh dear. I hadn't thought about it until I read this post. Having just got back from the yard, I find myself currently wearing Ariat breeches, and an Ariat polo shirt, and I removed a pair of Ariat Bromont boots, an Ariat jacket, and an Ariat baseball cap when I came in.

I can redeem myself though, as the gloves I was wearing are Kyra K, and my riding hat is a good old Harry Hall!! Phew, not a total Ariat groupie then!

I wear a real mix of old clothes and things I've managed to get on sale. I do tend towards Ariat boots, because they actually sort-of fit my skinny German feet, and my most-worn jodhs are Pikeur. I'm usually seen in a hoodie from our riding school that, rather tackily, has mine and my pony's name on it. At my age, I suppose that should be embarrassing, but hey, when everyone's doing it...

Kingsland and ariat mostly, both seem to fit me more than most brands, all tho both expensive but v comfy and smart, do have a slight obession with KL hoodies, is the showjumper in me, always have to wear something KL at a SJ show, lol!

I lurve Pikeur! Breeches, fleeces, tops... Also Kyra K tops for casual/or yard wear as they're quite nice and fitted. Used to be a rather well stocked horsey shop at my old yard... found it hard to resist!!

MUSTO!!!!! I race yachts too so i've worn them before they branched into equestrian wear. I love them - and yes, especially when they have sale! I recommend that even if you hate boats, if you can, make it to a big boat show (London, Southampton etc) as Musto pops up all over the stands and some stands have huge reductions on them. I got my neon pink duck & goose down feather gillet for £70 - reduced from £150 a couple of yrs ago. They dont make them anymore and its lasted really well.

yesss! for Joules, John Whitaker and Kingsland.

Mainly Joules and JW though.. i think they should start paying me for my advertising tbh.

:( No.
I think the only thing I possess from UK days is a very sad and tired Caldene shirt!

Maybe a bit more so in winter, my daughter says I look like a Hick! I am a hick, but I am a warm hick! :p

HH too, designed for sea, so pretty waterproof! I suppose my Colombia jackets are the equivalent of Musto, but, for everyday, my Carharrt bib coveralls and jackets do the job very nicely thankyou. Not horsey in the least, but in -15C for months, stuff being cool and trendy:);)

Musto usually but mostly from ebay or charity shops, I'm not proud! I've had a Musto Snugs jacket I've used on the yard for years that was part of the BT Global Challenge '96-97 for the Motorola crews, it's as good as ever and comes up like new when washed, I've found you can't beat their quality so always look for it which I can't say the same about Toggi, think that's very poor quality in comparison.

dubarry boots every day i'm afraid :o i work on a farm and i need wellies i can also wear inteh office and look vaguly smart rather than plastic ones i have to take off at the door...
other than that... ummm.... tescos jeans... tends to be a joules tshirt and any old wool jumper i grab in the morning.....
at home... tracky bums from tescos and freebe tshirts and fleeces from my grooming days :o

End of the day jumble sale unsold items:D I help out and get to keep what i want before the rag man takes them.
I have a fab coat. A lady asked me if it was certain make. I did not know it was. She paid £500 for hers. I told her i got mine from the jumble as it was not sold. I was at a packed meeting at the time and the whole place went silent and stared at me:eek: I am sure they they thought fleas would start jumping off me:D
I have some lovly jumpers, tops, jeans etc:cool:

North Face because they do THIS raincoat! http://i903.photobucket.com/albums/ac238/rubylovesponies/The Stables/Bonnie.jpg
(Me? Love pink? Noo... ;))

Double Horse joddies, cos there's only one tack shop near me (tis London after all!) and they're the only ones they have on the discount rail :D

Basically everything horsey I have now, or have ever had, are from this one tack shop! So I guess I'm a walking advert for them :p

Cavallo or Pikeur for me. I love the fit of all their clothes.

Recently found skiing jackets far better than any horse jackets for the winter/rain too so have been stocking up on billabong coats in the sales!
