i would stay away from coloureds as i feel that you are paying for the colour and will get less ability for your money ill just stick to the boring coloured but my top horse is completely black so do have a soft spot for them

I don't really like appaloosas or cremellos.

I like unusual colours or markings and am a huge dun, roan and buckskin fan. I'm not keen on greys or palominos as they are hard to keep clean

I think it all depends on the horse....I have always loved bright bays with black mane and tails and have always wanted a totally black horse....went to look at a selection of Fresians and always something not right about them...then happened across this one;

If I had seen him advertised I would never have gone to see him but I have ended up with a wonderful cool headed boy who will make a perfect all rounder when he is all grown up.

So lesson learnt I would not disregard on colour again. Even if he is known as (lovingly of course) "The Spotty Arsed Circus Horse"
