Are you happy with your weight?

Actually, I think BMI is used to screen for obesity in children in some countries, even if it isn't diagnostic. I think they use some sort of growth chart for children and teenagers? :-) Anyway I think even if you consult those there is no way this OP is "fat" nor overweight nor obese.

Yes, thanks.

I agree there is no way the OP is overweight. I just remember being mortified at that age too, my clothes feeling tight etc, because I was growing some hips etc

Puberty is one hell of a thing to get your head around IMO

Hon you're not over weight, and I agree about eating lunch to help your concetration at work. Your body is going through lots of changes and needs all the energy it can get!

And in answer to your question - I used to be really conscious and unhappy about my weight but now I am content with how I am, I'm 5"6/5"7ish and around 10stone (depends on the day) and feel comfortable like that... but I think its to do with how you feel...

you're body isn't fully developed at 13. you are active so you def don't need to worry about your weight.
i'm 25 and i've still got about 4 stone of excess baby weight (2 years after giving birth lol) to shift! i have had a rotated pelvis for the last 2 and a bit years so i've not been allowed to ride or do much at all.
As long as you are active and eat healthily you shouldn't need to worry.

Excuse me for being blunt, but I find it a bit irritating to listen to clinically underweight/normal weight people whining about their weight. If you have self-esteem issues you have my full sympathy, but spare a thought for other people's self esteem too. If you are clinically normal weight or underweight and still whine about it, how do you think that makes girls in the other end of the scale feel? End of rant :-)

Sorry that I was complaining, I didn't mean for it to come across like that. Just been ill for a week and have done nothing, so feel lazy ect. Being ill just makes me think about things that I know I shouldn't be concerned about. I am happy with my weight but do have those days where I felt like my clothes were a size too small. Yesterday (when I posted this) was one of those days and it gave me an idea of a pointless post
