Ouch! Yes I have broken knees at the moment (2 big scabs 1 on each knee). Reason? On Sat I was unloading my horse from the lorry, I have to secure the partition with a bungee. We were on a slope. The bungee pinged off and the partition swung back towards poor horse still on lorry. I flung myself after the partition but foot slipped on wet ramp and I went full length down on the ramp ripping up both knees. AND the partition still hit my poor horse! I think I had the worst injury though, thankfully. Also pulled stomach muscles. Luckily just working all this week so should be better by the time I ride next.
I think I'm beyond paddock ornament stage! If I were a horse I think I would have been PTS long ago!
Currently nursing a hernia - courtesy of my dog and his leaping off the back of the sofa stunt. He may be small but he's solid and has small paws - like missiles! He landed very hard on my stomach a few weeks ago and over the past few weeks I've been in considerable pain - heading to the specialist today to have an ultrasound.
Permanently nursing crook knees and back - just keep swallowing the pills!
Have lots of sympathy for your big bruise! Those jump wings come out of nowhere!
I have a really annoyingly painful verruca on the ball of my foot, gross and lame and not even impressive! I've had it for ages and it won't go away, boo. Also mechanical lameness on the arm I broke like 8 months ago, trying to do physio exercises but just ends up stiff and angry!
I just clouted myself on the loft entry hatch (yeah possibly not the best idea to leave it down all the time). Already have a dodgy ankle, dodgy knee and some kind of problem with my shoulders/back (pain is sort of under shoulder blade so not sure what is actually hurting)

Yep! A dodgy foot (tendons, ligaments, fractures previously! So still not right doubt it ever will be!!) dodgy shoulder (dislocated back in Jan) and id probably have some form of wobblers due to balance/dizziness

off lame on and id probably have some form of wobblers due to balance/dizziness issues. Put it this way id have been shot years ago!!!
I'm suffering from a bit of achilles tendonitis at the moment and should be on box rest, but I have a 12 mile trail race to run on saturday so I'm ignoring it!!!
I have a twisted pelvis and need to be seen by the chiro every 6 months, I also have dodgy wrists and a weak elbow from an old break, deffinitly wouldn't pass a vetting!
Am i lame? There's a whole thread on here by my owner wondering whether to PTS!
Kissing spines, sacroiliac issues and not weight bearing on one of my hinds...I'm out of work more than I'm in, have to be regularly seen by 'the back person' and can't do much more than potter round the field
Had a lesson on baby pony who decided he didn't like stopping from canter, and then the next day P was a very naughty boy and did some spinning, and now it feels like my left arm's going to fall off
I have a beautiful purple and green eye! My little chap was actually being good (for a change) but turned his head too quickly and caught my brow bone. Not nearly as good as your leg tho - ouchie!
yep, but I always am, I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, have an ankle replacement that while fabby compared to before, still gives me some trouble.
on top of that I have sciatic nerve trouble. should have been pts years ago but I refuse to quit competing
I have a colossal bruise on my arse from getting dumped the other day, plus what feels like whiplash. I'd share pictures but nobody wants to see that!! Not a happy camper!
came off xc schooling and was quite battered down the left side with brusing to my hip and what i thought was a sprained wrist..... turns out it is a suspected scafoid fracture. then ended up walking 4 miles and managed to polish off both hips, knees and blister both feet. Still having monthy chiro visits following a bad fall in feb
Always lame bit I have my jaw broken in 3 places at minute too. Not horse related it was to straighten my face but it's all wired shut and I feel sorry for myself. 2 - 4 more weeks to go. Doctor says its healing well and I can ride 6 weeks after op. I haven't the heart to tell him I lasted a week! Great hack in sunshine today.
Kissing spines, dodgy hocks. I'm also massively one-sided and scared of heights, so even if you managed to fix me I'm no good for dressage or jumping and would need to be a happy hacker.
Yep, I'm lame too... old injury to knee cartilage and ligaments, chronic hip pain from work, and currently seem to have trapped my sciatic nerve (horse with wobblers fell on me yesterday and leg hasn't recovered yet). Plus I'm a fat, lazy cob who is very on the forehand and likes to hollow her back instead of working properly... so not sure I'm worth saving. Wouldn't even make a happy hacker, too high maintenance!! Sure my family would give me free to a good home if they thought they could
