Are you maknig cutbacks this winter???

Have decided not to compete this winter - was out once a fortnight all through last winter and although good fun, was costing a fortune in diesel and entry fees.
Instead I am going to hunt more, especially as I pay a compunded sub (cap included), so can go out as many times as I like for no extra money other than transport costs.
Am also experimenting with Allen and Page's 'fast fibre', which my 2 love, and works out far cheaper than mixes - will feed an oil based chaff to keep the energy levels up for hunting and see how it goes.

I'm also car-booting as I have a TON of stuff to flog! Can't be bothered with ebay.....I sell more horse stuff at a carboot than I ever did at a proper equestrian table-top sale....

Just about ready to go again in a week or so....will see what the weather is up to.

:D

I have already saved over £100 a month as i now have a field and 2 stables for free!! So a big christmas present is in store for the lady that owns the place! My girls are barefoot so im only paying £20 for trims.

no. all my hay/bedding is included in my rent. so no cutbacks there.

and tbh i watch the pennies all year round, not just in winter....

but she wont be getting any extra treats - just apples when i get asda leftovers :D
