Are You Prejudiced About Colour?

When do you sedate your horse?

I put no, as when I was looking temprament, manners and so on were what mattered to me, I was kind of hoping the 'perfect' horse wouldn't be grey (because of the cleaning) or a cremello as that's one colour I'm not keen on. I am of course now a great fan of chestnut horses with white blazes!

I love bays and last time I was looking for a horse would only look at bays!!!! They are so easy!

I did realise that I was limiting myself some what and ended up buying a chestnut!!!

But I dont think I would have considered a coloured, at the time, and have turned down a fleabitten grey! have had two roans but they dont shine like the bays! I'd def have another chestnut though! It has opened my eyes to other colours!

Color doesn't matter to me, in fact the last horse I bought I didn't even know what colour she was when I went to see her. Although I do seem to end up with chestnuts, as I have three of them now! But they're all different shades so there's a bit of variety. Greys and coloureds are a pain to keep clean. My foal and 2 year old are grey so lots of scrubbing to look forward to when they go lighter!!

I'm not fussed by colour really, I wouldn't be put off the right horse by its colour, but probably wouldn't look twice at a cremello unless it was really something special, because i've only ever known one and it was the evilest most horrible horse I've ever come across, biting, kicking, rearing, bucking

I dont care what colour they are as long as we click. But I would like a spotty botty but wouldn't activly look for one. I hate having something someone else has, thats why I like my coloured as no other horse wil have her exact markings or wall eyes

The horse could be pink with yellow spots and I woudln't mind.
I don't mind colouring at all, I do prefer them to be nicely marked but again it doesn't matter as it doesn't change what the horse is like.

I wouldn't have a palamino as I have yet to meet a nice one. although I guess if a saint pally appeared it would change my mind.

I have a roan/crem/appy that can't make his mind up....he is a dirt magnet and prone to sunbrun. Pink skin is hard work and puts me off having anything with pinks skin again but I love cremello's so I am sure I would forget the hastle of it if someone offered me a crem!
