As there is no Badminton Horse Trials this weekend a lot of the riders are competing in Virtual Eventing instead. It is so funny.

The trot up had many of them in fancy dress as you've never seen them before( especially William F-P!!!) They are such good sports and all raising money for NHS charities.

The dressage was the proper ridden 2020 4* test. They all rode it at their own yards in their arenas or justand marked out an arena in a field. They are competing from all around the world. It was fascinating to see behind the scenes have a nose at their amazing yards. Michael Owen's was particularly stunning.

They then did 'virtual cross country' which involved an obstacle course in their own arenas and today is show jumping. Of course it is all done without any proper jumping with horses. Thoroughly good fun though.

It's all on the virtual eventing website and a good way to cheer yourself up as there is no actual horse competitions on at the moment.

pammy hutton was amazing. she and spencer provided commentary which was incredibly informative. i would think that the riders will have found their comments really useful

Just caught a bit of it yesterday. Amazing production, was really impressed at the work that everyone put into it. The trot up was inspired.

I enjoyed the trot up and dressage and loved seeing around people's yards
Found the parts when they weren't riding a little boring and repetitive if I'm honest, I was hoping that they would jump a round of show jumps though I do understand why they didn't.
I'm completely hooked on the Eventing Manager from Equiratings even though there is nothing to actually see with it,

Trot up and dressage were great, some of the eventing was hysterical and really made me feel better after a shit day. Showjumping yesterday had it's moments - overall it was highly entertaining and just what I needed this weekend.

I loved it, I dipped in an out over the weekend so didn't see all of it, but it kept me entertained and stopped me crawling the walls :) I loved the Pammy/Spencer team comments and I'm impressed at how much effort they all put into it.
