... nutters???

We've got three and they are all totally mad!! they live with my mum out in the back wacs but came to my house for a visit today (in sheffield) we went for a walk in a civilized busy park and they weren't very civilized at all!! Terriers ran round like crazy things after the nearest squirel/duck etc. and the staffy cross nearly knocked a small toddler into a pond while after a stick!

all very entertaining though!

All the other dogs were really quite, so just wondering if it's just mine that are crazy!?

Yep mine are mad! 2 Border collies and 1 staffie cross, they would run round all day! Have to go for two seperate walks as i can't manage all three in one go! The collies are better off the lead than on, but when they know it's time to go out thats it they cry until you are out the door anyone would think we were harming them!

My schnauzer is laid back but loves her runs about when out walking adn my uncles lab who I take it is a nut case! He works her and I exercise and play with her so she goes nuts when with me as she knows she isn't out to work!

You're not alone...my boy is nuts as well! I had him loose in the middle of a field on the farm. I called him and he came running towards me, eyes rolling back in his head. I at this time was stood still, unfortunately he shot straight past me, clipped my calf and knocked me clean off my feet, with me landing flat on my back in the long grass - I couldn't stop laughing! I was on the phone to OH at the time and all he heard was "Oh f**k!"

He's done it to me again since - but this time somone did yell "Watch out, he's coming."

S_V, our doggies just get the "URGE" and even if they don't want to be naughty - they have to do it anyway! and I love them for it!

LOL..Our little boy is fab and I love him to pieces BUT I feel all I'm saying at the moment, when we're out in public, is "sorry," "I do apologise," or "He's not usually like this."

my springer is a loony too! when we go over to the woods, he jumps in all the brambles and holly bushes looking for birds/ squirrels, whatever moves. doesn't care about getting scratched or hurt, comes home with bits of twig hanging off him, he also knocked someone over the other day, luckily i wasn't there oh took him out, but is always running into my legs!! but wouldn't have him any other way. makes me laugh every day..
