Took my boys turnouts off at lunch for a few hours while the sun is shining, just looked out of the window and Benji has already rolled in a mud patch.

The joys of naked horses in Early April!!

Noooooooo... Boston is rarely naked!!! His own fault for being a show horse!!!

Today he is out in his medium weight, and never comes in sweaty. I dont turn out naked unless its warm enough for me to be in a t shirt... and thats not happened yet!! And when its that warm then he has his fly rug on!! He does get the sun on his back when he's ridden and turned out in the school though... so dont shoot me for being cruel!
 
They've been naked for the last fortnight... unless it's raining when they're getting turned out. Trying to get a wet muddy swamp monster clean enough for a saddle just takes too long

The wind has been a bit chilly for the hunters to be stripped yet. Although the other two are having their rugs off on warmer less windy days.
 
Not quite yet, got medium on unless it rains and is cold. At night, still got HW on in stable. She is clipped tho. She is warmblood and feels the cold. When I put the MW on a couple of weeks ago, and it got cold, all her hair was standing on end.
I love to see her in the nude though and as said above, when it is warm enough for a t-shirt for me, then she will be out naked.

It was 2 degrees this morning when I turned out and though the hill may be in sunshine it is also very exposed to wind and cold so not yet.
 
I was going to put Chex out without his rug on, but it was -1 when I went up this morning, so I thought I better put a mw on! Went up just now, but its chilly in the wind so left it on.
 
No not yet, i am still wondering around in a jacket and she has been wearing her full neck hw recently but is now in her mw neckless rug, but today its quite warm so she has lw turnout with lw stable on. she has yet to come in hot or sweaty.
 
Sunny, sis's hairy cob is naked in the field in the day and in the box at night. Pidge is in a 100g rug as the wind is quite sharp still and he had a full clip and I don't want him losing any weight yet - it's taken that long getting him like this there is no way its coming off!
 
Mine are out 24/7 and have all been naked since the temperature went up to zero which was about 3 weeks ago.
