Area 12 ODE report.

Sock's second ever ODE and the poor chap had to carry me round fast asleep, as i'd been to a wedding on Fri and didn't get to bed till 5:30am, and then went to a hunt-ball on Sat. and didn't get to bed till 4:30pm, to say i was tired on Sun. is a slight understatement.

Dressage.. Socks hasn't actually had his 5th birthday yet (he wont be 5 till the end of Aug) and i think he is teething (growing new teath) so he was a bit fussy in his mouth and i couldn't turn right

Anyway, he did a sweet test that although was green in places i was pretty pleased with, he scored a 40 which i know sounds bad (compaired to BE scores) but actually left him about 4th after dressage

ShowJumping.. It was tiny, and Socks felt he didn't really need to put much effort in, with the lack of right hand steering as well he didn't SJ all that great, but he only had the one down

so not exactly a round to complain about

XC.. Socks has suddenly decided that he knows what this phase is all about, he has also discovered 5th gear

He gave me a fab ride for a clear round with in the time...

So we finished on a score of 44 to come 8th.. of his two goes at 'eventing' he has finished in the top 10 both times

Clever boy!!

I couldnt turn right on Moon for about 4 weeks when she started jumping, was pretty amusing but one day it just clicked!!
 
He has been fine in his mouth untill about 4 days ago

will try and get dentist out before Nutwell Court, although don't fancy my chances

I think it's just a growing thing tho.

I didn't get to go to Milton Keynes PNRF after all - not having much luck with the regional finals am I! Went to combined training instead - not nearly so much fun, but Hen won so she was good girl.

Now had to enter Upton House to do PNRF - ANOTHER day off work!
 
Ernie is next at Stockland Lovell doing the OI..

As for the question "is Socks for sale" well everything is for sale isn't it?? haha, we're not actually advertising him, but if someone came along offering mega bucks for him, obviously he would be.. Would like to do a few PNs on him first tho..
