Area Eventing report... with pics :)

Had a fab day PC area eventing today!
Had a crazily early start as I was on first... 8.30 dressage Was up at 5... eesh!
Anyway... dressage wasn't very good Could have done much better, but hey easier said than done... messed up one of my canter leads- stupid me!! But i corrected it straight away so didn't lose too many marks My score was 40.0, which was about average in the class so not as bad as I thought it was!

Had about an hour before SJ so went off to walk the course with my team It was a pretty nice course really... only a couple of big fences, though the ground was a bit horrible in some places. Anyway, Topsy was fab A really nice clear round and no time penalties

Then finally time for XC, which is always our best phase Flew round clear and no time penalties so I was

Then an anxious wait for the results!! We came 6th individually, 5th as a team and won a trophy for best in the Fernie PC (we were hosting the areas) So pleased, was a fab day....
