Hi all

My yards finally completed and I'm trying to set reasonable prices for livery!

Was wondering what people pay in the area for full livery (all duties/hay/bedding) part livery (all am duties/muck out/hay) we've got a small indoor school which I'm hoping will be a big + for clients given last winters snow and weather!

Also do you think there's a market for part/full livery given the financial climate?
 
Roughly where are you? People will more for convenience if you're near a town, for example.

I pay £420 per month for full livery on a very good yard with all facilities including an indoor. (you're right about the advantages during bad weather. No one on our yard missed a days riding this winter even if we did have to share the space a lot of the time.).
 
I will watch this thread with interest as I have to more yards and counties soon and need an idea of what I will have to pay:(

diy is 45 with me dee pooing or 41 without you doing one days worth.

We charge
£30 complete DIY
£60 Summer grass livery, including poo-picking, feed, rugging, assisting farrier etc.
£90 part livery (other people's full) including everything bar exercise.
£120 full livery (competition/hunting/breaking) including everything - clipping, trimming, bathing, tack clean etc and exercised accordingly.

Charge £10 per day for assisted DIY and depending on the horse between

These are competitively priced throughout the area and possibly a little more expensive than some places but we have the reputation and facilities to match ;)

We are in Lincolnshire. Hope that helps.
 
South Leics;

I charge £108 per calendar month for stable and grazing ( do whatever you want, track system, strip graze, whatever the horse needs )

No menege, but when weather good I allow the field to be used for lessons/jumping

Great hacking

I charge £5 per day for turnout/bring in/muck out and poo picking. This does not include any bedding/feed/hay.

Any extra's like getting in for farrier, cleaning, rug changing, I charge £1 for :)
 
Thanks all very helpful and a good guide. I was thinking £60pw part liv inc hay, all am duties and bed left up, use of school etc. then full livery £85pw including all daily jobs/facillities/hay/1 bale of bedding

We have all new stables and small indoor then I'm setting up a riding field with jumps/dressage boards

Does that sound reasonable?
