Thought i would have a go at this with my boy

I have only ever done one dressage test and he hasn't done any. So any tips, rules or major things i should know before i start? Don't want to look like a complete numpty

Also what do you wear, and are the xc fences like proper xc fences or just showjumps made to look like xc fences?

Depends on the venue, usually rustic SJ's built like a workers course but sometimes include roll tops etc. time is usually very tight.

if it's pony club then they will definatley be fixed 'proper' xc fences. I think riding club is more of an eventer's grand prix now.

Thankyou, it's not Pony Club, just a show centre. Next numpty question! You know how they update dressage test i have got a copy of prelim 18 (which is the test i will be doing) it's 2002, will that be correct or will they have updated it since then?
