Our sand school is very deep on one side and not very deep at all on the other, I think the base underneath the surface isn't overly level but im not 100% sure about that.

I was wondering would an arena leveller move more sand over to the other side where there isn't much or would I need to find a man and a digger??

Also, would adding rubber stop the surface riding deep??

Thanks

i seem to have the same problem! we have moved some sand around, you can do it with a leveller, and lift it up on the areas that are not so deep so your not pulling it away from there! we had use of a tractor with loader which helped!

have alos just put rubber down, but early days at the moment. certainly seems better. Though i lunge quite alot at the moment which really does not help!

Not an expert but we had an arena made in may (professional company ) silica sand. When I asked the firm who did it about keeping it nice to ride on they recommended keeping it well watered and regular levelling.
We had to water ours at first but now we have had a fair amount of rain we just keep levelling it.Lungeing is a problem our firm recommended moving the area you lunge in to a different part every time and levelling thouroughly
Levellers are fairly expensive they recommended a metal gate or metal hurdles .My husband has welded two hurdles togther one on top of the other to give them weight and then fork like rakes welded on the back edge .Cost about £50 ( fortunately we had 2 hurdles over .The surface seems to stay quite even) .
Hope this helps
