Arena Leveller

Can anyone reccommend an arena leveller?

To go on to a quad bike and for a silica sand with rubber on top surface.

We just level ours with an old metal gate attached with chains to back of quad - much cheaper and does the job

Dad welded ours together, but it was more elaborate to go on the back of a tractors 3 point linkage. A gate (heavier than a sheep hurdle) should do the trick.

Wooden pallet or a small chain harrow..oaks meadow have one for about £160. Very heavy.

Whatever you decide on get one that gets into the corners & right up to the edges otherwise you will end up with deep banks at the sides & corners which make it almost unrideable.

We just put an old metal gate on the back of old ride on lawn mower, does the trick

Built ours like a small width 5 bar gate with long nails through to break up surface and angled bar on edge to get corners - only problem - it's too heavy for ride on mower (ancient old thing) and nurns it's belts out so we drag it round manually - gets you fit though! Pulls fine o tractor but we don't have one

We have just gotten a new one, its on wheels with tines (sp?) and has two hands which lower it to the depths you want. I will ask OH the make, and post it later if you like?

we have an arena mate one which is really good, fills the track in lovely and gets right into the corners
