Arena Surface....Help

I am looking into getting new Arena Surface and not sure what do go for.

It needs to be free moving, and give. For Reining Horses/All Around Horses.

ATM it has Road chippings/lil gravel stones which we will get leveled out.

I was thinking of Beach Sand or Playpit sand. But that may be tooo Fine.

Also got priced for Sharp sand.

you want top grade silica sand! with some other topping ie rubber, or fibre shred! depends on how you intend to maintain the surface, how much work and how often you are going to level it..........

I'll ask our YO today what his is and where he got it. I've ridden on sand schools before and if it's pure sand it doesn't matter much what sand it is, it always gets deep when we have long dry spells like last may/june (anyone remember that?!?)

The one we have has give and never varies no matter how wet or dry it is...
