Arena surface- silica sand!

Does anyone know where to get silica sand from at a decent price?

Currently trying to finish the arena..but on a very tight budget

Try Martin Collins we found them cheaper than our local quarry and the sand is guaranteed to be the right type of sand.

Have you got this weeks H&H? There is a company advertising in the back, free sand. It's silica sand that has been used for casting. You've just got to arrange haulage

I would imagine you are quite close to the King's Lynn quarries, they have all sorts of grades of silica sand on sale and the haulage should be very reasonable

Cheapest we could find was Mansfield sands. OH haggled them down to around £18 per tonne + VAT.

I have found Mansfield Sands the cheapest too. Did you build your own arena? if not, would be interested to know who you are using. I am struggling to find someone I feel confident with at a reasonable price...
