Arena surface ? - sorry yet another!!

I'm planning to add rubber chippings to my sand surface - what sort of quantity would we need to mix with the sand. I was trying to work out whether it would be 50% ( or more) of the quantity needed for a 'stand alone' rubber surface.

All suggestions welcomed!

Rubber only surfaces can be splippy as there's nothing underneath to stop the movement

I topped up my arena (just over 20 x 40m) with 20tons of rubber. Really need 25tons, but not economic to transport!

If you are trying to stabilise the surface, I'd be addihg a fibre shred, not rubber. Get in touch with AndrewsBowen - they do a fibre additive and I can tell you for sure their surfaces are fantastic.
