Arg! Canter pole distances?

I've forgotten how far apart they are supposed to roughly be can't find any mention of it in my book on gridwork, only trotting pole distances.

Can anyone remember the rough guide in feet and inches for a horse please?

3 human strides = Bounce strides
7 human strides = 1 stride
11 human strides = 2 strides
15 human strides = 3 strides

+4 human strides after that for every stride
Competition distances at affiliated level are usually one human stride longer so +1 to these numbers (except for a bounce stride) but most horses and ponies can jump comfortably on the striding I've mentioned above.
