After vet came on Friday, referred to clinic on Monday for xrays, after xrays, scans, blocks, sedation, more blocks, more xrays, more blocks and then shockwave therapy....i picked my half sleepy horse up last night to start her 6 weeks box rest with 3 lots of shockwave therapy which the vet said 'probably won't work' and then she'll have to have an operation to cut the nerve and she'll be off all winter! ARGH!
So she goes in her stable, i go to check my gelding who has been cantering up and down ALL DAY because he hates being 'lonely' (even though there are 4 horses only separated by electric tape next to him!). Now he has the first signs of mud fever on the same leg as my mare needs an op on.
In need of two left hind legs, one to fit a 16hh warmblood and one to fit a 17hh tb x id....anyone got a spare hanging about? x
I can see my first aid kit increasing slowly this winter!! whys it one thing after another?! ARGHHHHHHH!!
