Argh - bloody pony

Ok so my mare is usually such a mild mannered angel

Today;

Came to call, the trotted and pranced over to stable

Continued to prance, wriggle, squeal whilst being groomed

Started jumping about doing mini rears when she saw the bridle and saddle

Pranced and generall acted a fool while tacking up

Decided to lunge, had to stop as she was just dragging me about acting like a fruit cake whilst doing her best "look at me im an arab impression" (she is a NF)

Someone had left jumps up, so she decided trotting was a no no and a full on gallop and a "drag mum down the school" move and leap over the jumps was a good idea

Lost my temper and turned her back out, and she charged off like a horse possessed

Yup - the mares at our yard were pinging round in their field like fruit-loops this week; from youngsters to oldies.

That's why I like having a gelding. One lots of hormones between us is quite enough!
