to get to our stables from the field, you have to cross a road. its not very busy, and there is an indent where we stand the horses till its clear to cross. the horses do this more then once daily and are fine with it, and normally the cars are lovely and slow down.
well today, i turned missy around to close the gate when a tractor with a HUGE load of onions on the back sped past WAY to fast and a few onions fell off and smacked missy on the bum, que, me holding on to 17.1hh of horse who was freaking out, trying to bolt and trample me, trying to shut gate and stop traffic. argh!! the cars after the tractor where lovely though. and asked if we were ok. but now missy has a cut on her leg and i spent the whole evening hosing.
