Argh dog hair

Does anyone know a good way of getting dog hair out of the carpet? I have been hoovering for ages and it just isn't getting the dog hair up at all!! And its a dyson! Is there something that works to get rid of it! I have never known a dog to shed as much hair as my beast does! Its so annoying!

A rubber brush, not plastic, rubber - don't know if you can get them in UK, maybe in a swimming pool place or car valet supplies place Here we have them for cleaning outside tiles.

Anyway, OH used to be a car valet and he says the only thing to get pet hairs out of upholstery or carpet is a rubber brush and elbow grease.

These are good for the cars but I haven't tried it on carpets as I have flooring for this very reason.

My OH uses a pair of slippers with a rubber sole and rubs them across the carpet. Works a treat.

put washing up gloves on your hand and rub carpet, they all come up ... takes ages but you'll be amazed how much hair you collect

Don't know where you are situated but in Northant you can get a rubber sweeping brush and a rubber hand brush at a garden centre near me. it is brilliant. Hard work but helps the figure!!Lol.
Seriously though, it does get the hairs from the carpet.
