ARGH! Embarrassing day! *pics*

We went to a local Trailblazers pony party today. And met Kenzo, which was really nice
Well we did the combined training class first, which was Intro A dressage and 55cm showjumping. The dressage went really well,

well I thought the judge was a little picky and seemed to only just put negative comments on my test sheets, but the showjumping was a nightmare! A real real nightmare!
We warmed up ok for the jumping,

we did quite a few jumps, but it all went out of the window when we got in the ring. Basically Molly ran out at the first jump 3 times and we were eliminated (well it said "retired" on my sheet which I thought was nice!)!!

My friend Karen came in and put the jumps down a bit and made me go over them one at a time. I got a big clap from the by-standers on finally getting over each one!! I felt like I was 8 years old again!

Well at least we did get over some jumps before we gave up jumping and went to do our final Prelim test,

Flying...

which went ok. we got 57% in both tests.
My friend Karen has just told me that she has bought me an hours private jumping lesson for my birthday!! Er, thanks... I think!

oh heck ..looks like you had a fun day ..... Well at least you got him over in the end so he nows that he has to do jumps. Next time he should be better. Bless him

Aw, thanks guys! Not sure about her knowing what to do next time, but you never know, we'll might be mad enough to try again!

Yes, I love the last pic too. Just proves to my husband that the fat hairy one can get all four feet off the ground!
