Just had a call to say my horse has jumped put and is stood on the driveway
He had never done this until we moved to this yard and was turned out with mares. Which is why I got him his own Shetland mare so no matter what the other horses were doing he would always have her with him so no need to jump to get to any others. Anyway it's been a while since he has done it but one of the mares he is normally out with was moved to the otherside of the drive a few days ago. All has been fine without a problem. He has electric fencing along this side of the fence to make it wider and harder for him to do but turns out he has managed it anyway today.
Any tips on how to keep him in? I was going to bring the electric fence in further and I am feeding plenty of hay so he shouldn't need more food.
Cannot wait till I move now at least he will just be out with geldings then and the fencing is higher!!
