We've been doing SO well with the Cushings pony....walks every day, she's looking really well and feeling it too!
Went out for a walk today...she did the usual prancing round, rearing, snorting and kicking about so we decided to turn back and let her have a play in the indoor.
She went for a roll, got up, had a pratt about, lay back down for a roll....and we heard a clank. Bloody shoes hanging off.
We didn't know whether to chance taking the shoe off and ripping anymore of the hoof off (a chunks already come out) or bandage it up so we've bandaged and taped it up and she was walking around on it fine. Farrier on Monday (again. Third time bloody lucky).
