argh moulting ponies

I thought it would be clever to ride bareback today (because I couldnt be bothered to get my tack out of the shed) and do some bareback jumping and now im sitting here picking hair out of jodphurs and itching lol.

Maybe I should just go have a shower. hehehe.

Any one else coming home finding hair everywhere?

I was giving my pony a good brush earlier and the floor was completely orange. Then, a big puff of wind came and what was on the floor was on me.

On the plus side, it is very good stuff for nesting birds!

Yeah we have a hedge row behind the fields and if you find the old nests int he winter they are multicoloured lol. Orange, White, Yellow

Our yard looks like its carpeted at the moment from all the hair falling out of our ginger two!

LOL, i think it is one of the most endearing memories of having horse/pony. It doesn't matter what colour jods you have on when you hop off you have the remnants of half a horse on your bum, thighs and legs. Black, brown, white, pink, purple, blue, navy jods the hair is still stuck and contrasts beautifully!

I have a grey that is seriously moulting if i call in at the shop on the way home i always get funny looks!
