This is why I wonder 'why didn't I get a normal job'
The arena rubber came this morning, yay I thought. 1 hour later (!!!!) the prat, yes he was literally, unloaded it. Then he starts to go, so I went to see if all was ok. He comes running up to me and explains that he has 'knocked' one of the floodlights...."It's ok, it's not that bad" HAHA! Yeh right it is now at 45 degrees...the pole is, and cracked all the concrete. "Please don't tell my boss he'll give me the sack"
So are you going to pay for the damage??????
PLUS he had an accident last week involving a transporter, no wonder he HAS now got the sack
So he goes.....takes 1/2 an hour to get out of gate. "It is so tight" workmen were not happy so told him to p*ss off we had 25 artics with the sand with no problem.
Then I go and see the rubber....well it's a pile of crap
NOT what I ordered, it's some rubber, a LOT of foam and even MORE carpet
Straight on the phone to the company to say how angry I was. Got fobbed off a lot, until they agreed to send out the Director. This took 2hours. My mum came back as I wasn't sorting this on my own, so she lost 2 hours of pay, which they will pay for! He finally comes in his £100k Bentley.
He was very good, said it was the wrong stuff and a pile of crap

We get to keep it for free, so it will be used for the round pen, which is quite good and he is sending the proper stuff next week. Very apologetic and he even phoned the office to say they needed to get this right as we are very influential
AND they are paying for all damages, etc.....result.
He is sending back the cheque I gave them this morning, so after I was very angry and annoyed with this company, if they do as they say I will be very pleased!!!
But OMG the stress, lol.
