at the moment. I had a lesson last night (hadn't had one for a couple of weeks) and as i knew, have totally lost trot.

Canter is coming on really nicely, but trot is awful now!

I cannot get him to bend around my right leg and seek the contact properly on either rein

last night i spent my whole lesson in trot pretty much and when we got it it was good but when we didn't it was pretty ugly and hollow

I feel like we've gone back to square 1 with it really so depressing.

So much for doing well at the dressage show at the weekend, think i can wave goodbye to that!

dont worry about it, suddenly it will all click, it just soooooo frustrating waiting for it to happen.

For the dressage, just go for accuracy, if its prelim level, most judges would prefer to see a horse going forward instead of a nice outline but accuracy is always a sure thing for scoring points
