Argh! Wet rugs & worse weather! :(

Mine stayed out last night & will be quite soggy when I go up in the next hour. Skinny unclipped TB had a med t/o on overnight. The forecast here is for 6 degrees, heavy rain & strong winds yikes!! I will leave them out til about 5pm & them bring them in tonight. Should I leave the same rug on for the day or change it to a dry lightweight?!
I hate winter!

If it's a decent rug then should be dry underneath and no need to change.

if its going to be a dry day id leave the wet rug on as it would dry on the horse better than being stuck in the shed, however if its going to pee it down all day, i normally stick a fleece on with a lightweight on top . thats just me though.

I left it on for the day in the end. He was dry underneath it but sodden everywhere else, bless him! He was VERY keen to come in last night!
