Sorry guys, bit of a rant, had a rubbish weekend.
Firstly had to take the dog to the vets friday afternoon as he's been poorly. Having problems with his bowels, but a change of diet and lots of anti b's he will be fine, but a nice bill to start the weekend.
Then went to pick up my new long riding boots that i ordered, yay their fab but ouch for the backs of my knees (got some lovely marks there now), got some serious breaking in to do!
And finally brought the horse in saturday late afternoon to find he has cut his back leg, scalped himself under his foreloock, scalped the top inside of his front leg and his knee was the size of a football
. Now he still has a knee the size of a football but with swelling all down the inside (?) of his leg. Good thing though is that he doesnt appear to be lame, is weight bearing, and still tanking round the field like a loon. Cant be anything bad other wise he hops round going 'ooooooo mom it hurts, real bad...'
Have called the vet and am waiting for him to ring back to see what else i can do for the dimwit. Doesnt look like i'm going to be able to strart bringing him back into work this weekend after the physio has been.... poo
