Although I don't know if this can be statistically proven or if it's just how it feels, both my cats and dogs seem to prefer to be sick before I've eaten breakfast, for me that just makes the cleaning up a little bit even more unpleasant.

Hope things get better with your puppy's allergy issues and that the "thing" didn't leave any stains.

Or the other preferred time is in the evening when I have just settled down to watch tv, then the ominous gulping noises start and its a trip outside, which usually results in missing a crucial part of the programme

Been there and missed the crucial part of the program too Murphys Minder

. Sorry for going off topic, but can somebody tell me why cats like to be sick on top of something? I mean if there's one carpet in the room, that's usually where they go, gulping along the way, to be sick. Maybe I should ask Nuala if she knows that?

Also when I get sick I try to minimize the area over which I spread my hm, you know yuck, but since my cats and dogs often walks around while gulping, between being sick, I can't help but feel that their aim is to spread their hm, yuck, over an as large area as possible. WHY?
