Arghh -I hate saddle

If you have money to burn, you could go down the WOW route, the jumping flaps are made to allow the shoulders to move, which means you could have a forward cut flap with your long legs and the saddle wouldn't get pushed back

Just a thought!

As you say your horse is a heavy weight cob- I'm guessing your horse has a fairly flat back, shoulders that make the saddle move and not much in the way of withers? you may need a saddle that is straighter cut at the shoulder to allow for shoulder movement, and with a fairly flat panel to correspond with the shape of the back- maybe something like a showing saddle or a VSD fitted wide enough to allow free movement. Maybe an Ideal or a Black Country- they can be custom made.
