Arghhhh boots for short people!!!

Ok so I need boots, or chaps that will fit me. I have measured my leg and its roughly 37/38 cms height and 34/35 around the widest part of my calf. I cant find any boots that fit me properly!! Any ideas???? Looking for some smart boots or chaps for shows. Thankies

i have short (and fat

) legs and have found that need to buy more expensive boots and chaps to get them to fit properly. i have sarm hippiques for competing in but i do like the ariat chaps and joddy boots which i am saving up for- the chaps come in a wide range of heights and widths...but are pricey

I have short legs, they're not fat but i have quite muscular calves, so i struggle with boots. Long one always tend to poke me in the back of the knees. I've given in and now buy childrens boots and chaps which tend to fit quite well in general although it's a bit embarrassing paying for them (along with my childrens sized jods) :/
 
I wear cheap Shires jodhphur boots and nice English Gaiter company gaiters in the show ring and they're fab! Have had a number of people comment in surprise when they finally realise that they're gaiters and boots, not long boots.
 
I have the same problem very short bottom legs and with size 6 feet i cant have kids boots. I had some MH kids gaiters but they were too tall and broke after wearing bout 20 times not impressed, so ive had to resort to normal boots and putting in 3 MH heel lifters and an insole hehe it makes you look lik your feet are perfectly positioned as well. But for just plain riding its jod boots and kids chaps
 
I'm in the same position but i would love a pair of long boots - im small and fairly slim, so i really struggle. But i have reagent (i think?) boots and gaiters and i really like them, although would rather long boots... Hurry up Christmas!!

ive got short stubby legs and have just bought a pair of their gaiters. id say there pretty generous in calf size. they are good quailty. and once on feel feel really light.

have a google. mine in the end came through horsedata. as i needed them on 48 hour delivery.

you will pay more for the shorter sizes though,

surry equestrian are sellers of them at good prices.
 
My calf is 37cm in height and 35cm at the widest par too. I have the Robinsons Requisite Leather softy top long boots.
Out of 7 pairs of boots and gaiters I tried on they were the only pair that didn't pinch at the back.
They've set me back £80, but I think they're worth every penny. I used them mainly to compete, but sometimes ride in them at the yard and they're not a problem whether my stirrups are short for jumping or long schooling. Definately recommend them!
