OMG - OMG
Its the 8th of November in just a fortnight - I can't believe its come round so quickly
Due to the recent circumstances in my life the whole thing got placed on the back boiler but I have suddenly realised how close it is and am royally panicking!!
However, the amount of people wanting to join in seem to have run away with me - so far, there appears to be about 14 of us! I bet though, that if the weather is awful, the number will reduce
I rang the pub yesterday where we are all stopping to have lunch and was half hoping that they would donate the lunch to us, but no such luck. I am almost organised in getting three large trucks parked up to put all the dogs in whilst we are in the pub.
Due the pub's tight fistedness (is that a word?) I am going to ask them to donate a couple of bottles and do a draw at lunchtime to raise a bit more money. Also, seeing as there are so many of us I am just asking people who are joining in to donate a tenner rather than get sponsors (this excludes the children though of which I think there are going to be loads - well at least 6 so far!).
I am going to park up at our starting point tomorrow and walk a few miles of it to get myself in the mood - poor dogs, they worked so hard today out shooting, it will be shock to have to go on a long walk tomorrow as well!!
Anyway, enough of my ramblings - how are you getting on?
