Just been nosing on bebo and stumbled across a "friend's" profile (well actually she isn't a friend, she is just a horrible, nasty person but that is another matter). She has a lovely full tb mare that has been in awful conditions over the last 18 months through what can only be described as neglect.
Anyways, in said photos, she is riding her 3yr old tb mare in:
Tight draw reins along with nose tucked in type "outline"
Spurs
Flash noseband
3 ring gag
Running martingale
Poor mare still looks half starved, and I know for a fact was only broken in July, has already had tendon problems and she has already ruined her other horse's mouth by effectively shoving far to strong a bit in her mouth and forcing her head down and in.
Arghhhh! Fcuking idiots!!! I know I'm not perfect but I don't think I'm over-reacting here?!
